Mr. Auzenne was born on August 31, 1942 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Joachim and Corella Allen Auzenne. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, where he was an active usher. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 5022. Charles worked for Montell, formerly Himont, and retired after 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Bessie Carlin Auzenne; daughters, Monica Lynn Charles (Reginald) of Houston, Texas and Valerie Fay Hughes (Joel) of Iowa, Louisiana; siblings, Arthur Auzenne (Mary Ann), Albert Auzenne (Jackie), Bertina Gradney (Lonnie) Mary Diane Darbone (Marciano); 3 grandsons, Joshua B. Auzenne, Nicholas Charles and Sidney Thomas and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward Auzenne, Hilton Auzenne and Joachim Auzenne, Jr.
