Charles Reagan Cook

February 10, 1943 — November 13, 2025

Charles Reagan Cook, 82, of Westlake passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 in a Houston hospital.

Mr. Cook, born on February 10, 1943, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, lived his entire life in the community he loved. A 1961 graduate of LaGrange High School, he cherished the lifelong friendships formed there and met faithfully with his classmates each month for lunch at Seafood Palace, a tradition he greatly enjoyed.

He attended McNeese State University before proudly serving his country in the United States Army. A man of remarkable skill and dedication, Mr. Cook was a pilot for more than 50 years.

Beyond the skies, he found joy on the water. Boating was one of his favorite pastimes, offering him peace, adventure, and time spent with friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Carol Lambert Cook of Lake Charles; a daughter, Lisa Lynn Cook Gale of Blue Jay, CA; and a sister, Diane Cook Williamson of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nobie Cook; in laws, Roy B. and Dorothy Inez Lambert; and a brother in law, Roy B. Lambert Jr.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
