Charles E. Mckelvey, Sr.

Charles Everett McKelvey, Sr., 77, of DeQuincy, LA died at 12:52 AM on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at DeQuincy Hospital.

Mr. McKelvey has lived in DeQuincy for the past fifty years. He was a former employee at PPG and worked as a pipefitter.

Mr. McKelvey is survived by his wife of fourteen years, Margie R. McKelvey; and daughter, Janice McKelvey Williams.

His service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2012 at the Church of Christ in DeQuincy. Reverend Ray Hyatt will officiate. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy, LA. Visitation will be at the church from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM and continue on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
