Charles Meyer Jr.

Iowa – Charles Meyer, Jr., born February 13, 1965 in Welsh, son of Charles Meyer, Sr. and Agnes McCown Meyer, passed away in his residence, Thursday, July 11, 2019, at the age of 54.

Charles worked in the oilfield as a solid controller. He loved motorcycling, boating and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Djuna Gary Meyer; children, Joshua Aaron Meyer (Kimberly); Christen Anthony Meyer; Liem Meyer; Christopher McDonald; Candice McDonald; siblings, Darrell Meyer (Bernadette); Kenneth Meyer; Deborah Meyer Callaway (Quinten); 6 grandchildren; dog, Bear. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Anthony Wayne Meyer.

Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. Rev. John Payne will officiate. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin Friday in the funeral home from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
