Many – Charles Kenneth Murphy, Jr., born July 31, 1950, son of the late Charles Kenneth Murphy, Sr. and Lou (Navarre) Murphy, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the age of 69.
Charles was a graduate of LaGrange High School and worked as a welder until he retired. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family.
Charles is survived by his 2 children, Charles “Charlie” John Murphy (Nikki); Toni Lynn Cassia (Chris); 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine Smart; pet, Boo Boo.
Funeral services are Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation is Friday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and will resume Saturday in the funeral home from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
