Charles Adam Myers, Sr.

Iowa ~ Charles Adam Myers, Sr., born July 24, 1947, son of the late Hilliard and Della (Dupont) Myers, Sr., passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the of age 75.
Charles graduated from Midland High School. He worked as a consultant for Baker Oil Tools until he retired. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and faithfully said the rosary. Charles enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hillard Myers, Jr.; sisters, Jeanette Bertrand, Sylvia Kibedeaux.
Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Myers; sons, Charles Adam Myers (Kristina), Craig Lawson Myers, Kirby Scott Myers (Whitney), Cory Lee Myers (Jessica), Aaron Dale Myers (Leslie); sisters, Susie Istre (Calvin), Edna Hebert; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10 a.m. Rev. Jom Joseph, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Broussard Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. and will resume Saturday in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
