Charlotte Richard

Charlotte “Sug” Richard, 64, of DeQuincy passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in her residence.  She was born to Warner and Ruby Richard and lived in Lake Charles for 54 years until she moved to DeQuincy. 

She is survived by her partner and best friend, Chris A. Dinger of DeQuincy; daughter, Ashley Broussard of Sulphur; son, Adam Broussard and wife Jessica of Stafford, VA; grandchildren, Zack, Hailey, Riley, Allie, Jackson and Noah;  sister-in-laws, Katy Mae Richard and Santea “Faye” Richard; stepchildren, Shara Miller and husband Dustin of Westlake and Chris Dinger, Jr. and wife Amanda of Longville; step grandchildren, Dill Pickle, Rusty Bucket, Drew Buddy, Daisy Mae, Seth Man and Lilly Girl and many loving and caring nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, “Sonny” Warner Jr. and wife Joy, David Wayne, Robert Ray, Rodney Dean and Gary Wayne Richard.

Her funeral will be at 11:00am Monday, June 21, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.  Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.  Visitation will begin on Monday at 10:00am until service time at the Funeral Home.
