Moss Bluff – Charmaine Gorham, born December 9, 1960, daughter of James and Renola (Broussard) Simon, passed away October 11, 2019, at the age of 58.
Charmaine was a graduate of Barbe High School and was employed with CPSB for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Moss Bluff. Her passion was sewing, shopping, cooking, baking, spending time with family, friends and working with church youth groups.
Charmaine is survived by her husband, Stuart Gorham; mother, Renola Simon; son, Glenn Gorham (Shanna); daughters, Brittany Myers (David), Lauren O’Farrell (Ryan); sister, Drusilla Sonnier (Rodney); grandchildren, Katelyn Myers, Aubrie Myers, Lily Gorham, Carter Myers, Colton Gorham, Lucy O’Farrell.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Simon; step-daughter, Denee Gorham.
Funeral services are Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff with Rev. Billy Saxby and Rev. E. J. McCann officiating. Burial will follow in Old Ritchie Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Tuesday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and will resume Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.in the church.
