Welsh – Chester Andrew LeBlanc, born October 8, 1946, son of the late Andrew and Ada (Hardy) Leblanc, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021, at the age of 74.
Chester was a graduate of Welsh High School, after graduating he served in the United States Marine Corp and was also a Vietnam veteran. He was a soybean and rice farmer. Chester enjoyed hunting, camping, cooking, listening to music and loved finding new restaurants.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Yvette LeBlanc; brothers, Warren James LeBlanc (Genevive); Richard Thomas LeBlanc (Mary Nell); numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Andrea Leigh LeBlanc; sister, Marie Eloise LeBlanc.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Private Memorial services will be held at a later date.
