Chris "Chubby" C. Anderson, born in Lake Charles on March 16, 1960, son of the late Milton Anderson, Sr. and Elma Lois Jack Anderson, passed away August 19, 2021, at the age of 61.
Chris "Chubby", a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved cooking and entertaining for his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Genevia Charles; 2 sisters, Pollie and Velma Anderson.
Chris "Chubby" is survived by his daughters, Crystal Abraham (Fred); Latora Chatman; son, Clifton Charles; significant other, Rosa Sonnier; brothers, Milton Anderson, Jr. (Carolyn); Ray Anderson (Lou Anna); Eddie Anderson; Jolly Anderson; Stoney Anderson; Donny Anderson; Stanley Anderson (Sharie); 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews, and friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cremation will follow the gathering under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Masks must be worn as per the request of the family and no food will be allowed.
