Christopher Paul "Chris" Adams

Christopher Paul Adams, 36, of Lake Charles passes away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 in Beauregard Parish.

Chris was born on May 6, 1989, in Lake Charles, where he spent his entire life and attended Barbe High School.

In his earlier years, Chris worked as an airplane mechanic for Northrop Grumman. He later began a career as a pipefitter, dedicating himself to working in the local plants.

Chris had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, but his true passion was fishing. His favorite place was the Lacassine Pool, where he found peace and happiness doing what he loved most.

Above all, Chris adored his two girls. They were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Those left to cherish his memory are his girls, Savannah "Rosie" Adams and Eva Adams; his father and step mother, Don and Sherri Adams; siblings, Isabelle "Belle" Adams (Michael), Danielle Derouen, Lakyn Smith (James), Rickey Smith (Jordan), Scott Lasha, and Alyssa Trahan; paternal grandfather, Shephard Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Westland Adams; sister, Cassandra Adams; and paternal grandparents, Gertrude and Paul Romero.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel.
