Christopher Dean Arceneaux, born on August 7, 1958, son of Wilson and Yvonne (Poole) Arceneaux, passed away on May 21, 2023 in his residence.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sharon (Hampton) Arceneaux; two sons, Malcom and Marty Arceneaux; two daughters, Jessica Beard and Amanda Leonard; two brothers, Billy and Terry Arceneaux; one sister, Bonnie Jean Arceneaux; two step-sons, Damon Hampton, and Timmy Mixon; one step-daughter, Lindsay Sammons; 27 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Marcus Arceneaux.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A burial will follow in Broussard Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Pallbearers assisting in his service are Ethan Guidry, Brennan Hoover, Jonathan Hampton, Marty Arceneaux, Blaise Beard, and Travis Latiolais. Serving as honorary are Timothy Reber and Chris Latilais.
Christopher enjoyed hunting, frogging, and cooking with his family. He was always willing to help anyone in need.He worked as a superintendent for Lewing Construction.
