Christopher "Chris" Jordan

 Christopher Thomas Jordan, 34, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Poquoson, VA.  A native of Moss Bluff, LA and a graduate of Sam Houston High School, he worked as a machinist on aircraft carriers at Huntington Ingalls/Newport News Shipyard.  Chris was a navy veteran and served aboard the USS Enterprise.

Survivors include his mother, Teresa Jordan; brother, Jason Jordan and wife Wendy; nephew Jaydon; grandmothers, Kathleen Venable and Anna Jordan; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is also survived by his love, Ginny Gwaltney.  He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas “Bill” Jordan; grandfathers, William Jordan and Johnnie Kimbrough; and cousin, Seth Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur with Pastor Marcus Wade officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 12:30 pm until the time of service.
