Christopher Anthony Guidry, born in Creole, LA on April 3, 1964, son of the late Gerald Guidry and Mary Jane (Marceaux) Sturlese, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Monday, August 8, 2022, after a brief illness, at age 58.
Christopher graduated from South Cameron High School and was employed as a cross country truck driver. He enjoyed computer work in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Guidry, and Mary Jane (Marceaux) Sturlese and her husband, Gene; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Lucille Guidry; maternal grandparents, Louis and Editha Marceaux, niece, Amber Broussard, and nephew, Brett LaBove.
Christopher is survived by his sisters, Melanie Ross and husband, Richard of Port Angeles, Washington, Michelle Mouton and husband, Mark of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Monique Pradia and husband, Jim of Mamou, Louisiana, companion, Tony Broussard of Arlington, Texas, numerous nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Creole on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 2 p.m. under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Visitation begins Sunday in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 12 p.m.
