Clanis James Marceaux Sr.

Clanis James Marceaux, Sr., born in Kaplan on December 24, 1945, son of the late Cleo Marceaux and Yolande Rung, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the age of 76.
Clanis served in the U. S. Army. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Southern Scrap. Clanis enjoyed fishing, hunting, and dancing. He was a people person and never met a stranger.
Clanis is survived by his daughter, Tamara Marceaux; son, Waylon Marceaux; sister, Betty Doucent and husband, Bernon.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Clanis James Marceaux, Jr.,; brothers, Johnny and Nelson Marceaux.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
