Clarence "C.G." Fults, 81, was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
C.G. was a devoted family man through and through. Nothing meant more to him than being surrounded by the people he loved most. He was an avid fisherman who cherished time spent outdoors and lived a simple, humble, and peaceful life. Known for his gentle nature, C.G. never spoke a bad word about anyone.
He proudly served his country as a United States Navy veteran during the Vietnam Conflict, where he served as a postman aboard the USS Constellation, an aircraft carrier. Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, C.G. began a 35-year career with the United States Postal Service.
Around this same time, he met the love of his life, Dianne Clark, on a blind date. He won her heart with his yellow Corvette, and the two were married on November 16, 1968. Together, they shared 57 beautiful years of marriage.
After marrying, C.G., a city boy from Lake Charles who grew to love the country life, moved to Longville, Louisiana. There, he and Dianne planted their roots and raised their family.
C.G. is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dianne Clark Fults; his children, Brian Fults (Kristal) and Jason Fults; his grandchildren, Nicholette Doucet and Matthew Fults; his great-grandson, William Doucet; and his siblings, W.D. Fults, Jr. Fults, and Ruth Sarvaunt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guessner and Thelma Fults, and his sister, Velma Kennedy.
A funeral service for Clarence "C.G." Fults will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, with burial to follow at Prien Memorial Park in Lake Charles.
