Claudia Dell "Gram" Guillory
April 28, 1939 — August 3, 2022
Claudia Dell Guillory “Gram”, born in Woodlawn on April 28, 1939, daughter of the late David Hampton Marcantel and Martha Hazel Cole Marcantel, passed away Wednesday, August 03, 2022, at age 83.
She was a loving mom, grandmother, and friend. Gram loved working outside, mowing grass, farm life and spending time with her grandchildren. She was devoted to God, family and work. She and her late husband, Donald, owned and operated Guillory Farms, and a construction business.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, son, Michael Guillory, and sister, Marie Miller.
Gram is survived by her sons, David Guillory, Keith Guillory (Dana), and Jeff Guillory (Tiffany); sisters, Lou McGee (John), and Gail Marcantel; grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Jed, Courtney, Lezlee, Cade, and Calee; great-grandchildren, Michael, Seth, Hadley, Hayes, Brian, and Jack.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brandon Oliver officiating in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins on Monday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The family would like to thank the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital 7th tower nursing staff and Dr. Jason Langhofer for the excellent care given to “Gram”.
