Clifford Helmer

Clifford Helmer, 84, passed away on February 21, 2017 in a local hospital surrounded by his family. Clifford was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, fishing, bowling, and going out to eat. He loved to work in his garden, watch wrestling, and Walker Texas Ranger.

Clifford is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances Murrell Helmer of Sulphur; his two children, Desiree' Dalomba of Magnolia Springs, AL and Royce Wade Helmer of Sulphur; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Morris Helmer; and his parents, Wilbur and Clodie Helmer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Walker officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Thursday, February 23 at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
