Lake Charles – Clifford Miller, born June 25, 1922 in Cameron, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, in his residence at the age of 95.
Clifford is survived by his wife of 71 years, Eula Mae Miller; sons, Mike Miller (Becky), Larry Miller (Lynn); daughters, Becky Miller (Joe) and, Tammy Miller (Dominic), all of Lake Charles; brother, Roger “Pete” Miller; sister, Virgie Primeaux LaFleur of DeQuincy; 18 grandchildren and, 30 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Zavia and Emma Broussard Miller;
son, Greg Miller; daughter, Eva “Tootsie” Foreman; siblings, Irma Miller Leger, June Miller and, Eugene Miller.
Clifford managed Prien Memorial Park and Highland Cemeteries for many years. He served in the United States Army from 1942 – 1945; serving in Germany and France during WWII.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in Christ the King Catholic Church, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. with the Very Rev. Anthony Fontenot officiating. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home ~ Iowa. Visitation is Wednesday in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home ~ Iowa, from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and will continue Thursday in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.
