Hayes – Cody Lee Bourgeois, born September 16, 1968, son of Albert Bourgeois and Ethel Vincent, passed away October 16, 2018, at the age of 50.
Cody enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He worked for Hixson for many years and Lewing Construction for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Leta “Kathy” Bourgeois; daughter, Ariel Manuel and husband, Casey; father, Albert Bourgeois and wife, Patsy; mother, Ethel Vincent; sister, Tina Leger and husband, Richard, grandchildren, Tate and Tanner; nephews, Troy and Liam Leger and Axel Naegele; godchild, Ashley Naegele; nieces, Kayla and Mila Leger. He is preceded in death by his brother, Albert J. Bourgeois, Jr.
Celebration of life will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, Monday, October 22, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Gathering of family and friends will begin Monday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation is under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
