Cody David Ernest Cormier, 22, of Ragley passed away on October 15, 2016. He was a graduate of South Beauregard High School and attended McNeese State University for two years. After a longtime dream, he became employed as a Sheriff’s deputy with the Beauregard Parish Sheriff Department. Cody loved to hunt and watch his favorite team, the Ravens play football. He was very poetic, was loved by many and had a huge impact on the Ragley Community, touching many peoples’ lives and hearts. He always knew what to say at the right time. No matter what you would be going through, he would always make sure to put a smile on your face. Cody was madly in love with his family and God. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Cody is survived by his parents, Connie and Roy Cormier, Sr.; his two brothers,
T-Roy Cormier, Jr. and Chad Cormier; his sister, Jennifer Cormier Guillory and husband, Davien all of Ragley; 5 aunts; 6 uncles; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his uncle; and his cousin.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 3 P.M at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Richie Cemetery in Moss Bluff under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 2 -9 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 19, from 8 A.M. until time of the service.Visits: 12
