Collin Richard Sanders

Collin Richard Sanders, born on July 17, 2023, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, departed from this world and was called home to God on October 19, 2023.
Collin brought immense joy and love to his parents, Kareline Nichole Guidry Sanders and Aaron Richard Sanders, and his siblings, Alanah Sanders, Corbin Creel, Conner Creel, Jacob Creel, Amelia Sanders, and Ahnaka Sanders.
He was also cherished by his grandparents, Terry and Vicky Daily, Elizabeth Guidry, and Karen Sanders Gillman, as well as his great grandmother, Patricia Sanders; brothers-in-law, Oscar Alexander, and Steven Corbello; Sister-in-law, Elizabeth Brossette. Collin was the beloved nephew of Haley Guidry, Ashley Daily, Angela Sanders, Tyler Gaukel, and Isaac Burke.
In his short time with us, Collin touched the hearts of all who knew him. Though he was taken from us far too soon, he will forever be in our thoughts and memories. Collin was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Carline Menard, his great grandfather, Hugh Sanders, his grandfather, George Gillman, and his great grandfather, Johnny “Frankie” Menard.
Please join us in honoring Collin’s brief yet precious life and in offering support, and love to his grieving family during this difficult time. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all. Rest in peace, sweet Collin. You will forever be in our hearts.
Collin’s visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home beginning at 5:00 PM on the evening of Monday, October 23, 2023, and will continue until 8:00 PM. A private graveside will be held on a later date at Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
