Collins Elizabeth Cooper passed away on June 4, 2026.
Collins was wild and free, full of life, and completely fearless. It only took a few seconds to fall in love with her. She was a daredevil little girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
She knew her people and never met a stranger. Outgoing and full of confidence, Collins had a way of making everyone feel seen. Her family often joked that she was like a little politician, making her rounds wherever she went, greeting everyone she knew with a smile and a wave. She could be wonderfully bossy and always seemed to know exactly what she wanted.
Collins loved being outside and dancing her heart out. At her grandparents' restaurant, whenever music started playing, she would make her way to the dance floor. She brought joy wherever she went. Her grandmother often said that people would get lost in Collins' beautiful blue eyes. She was also known for giving the very best hugs.
Collins had her favorite snacks. Bananas and fruit snacks were at the top of the list. If she heard a wrapper crinkle or the pantry door open, she was already on her way.
Collins filled every moment with love, laughter, and happiness. She leaves behind countless precious memories that will be cherished forever.
Those left to treasure her memory are her loving parents, Seth and Kelsey Cooper; her little brother, Kendall Cooper; her grandparents Douglas and Jenifer Schysm, and Gary and Tammy Poe and great-grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved her dearly.
Preceded in death by two of her grandfathers, Abbie Joseph Higginbotham, and David Chad Cooper.
A funeral service for Collins will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the start of the service.
Collins left a tremendous impact on everyone who knew her. Her bright spirit, fearless nature, and beautiful smile will never be forgotten.
