Connie H. Thrasher

Connie H. Thrasher, 57, of Moss Bluff passed away November 1, 2016 with her loving family at her side.

Connie was born on August 26, 1959 in Lake Charles, LA to Harley and Eula Hoffpauir. She loved visiting, cooking, camping, and fishing. Connie was known for her love of the Lord, her family and friends. The light of her life was her granddaughter, Gracie. Connie worked at Moss Bluff Elementary for 19 years and was a member of Moss Bluff Bible Church. She also enjoyed late night calls with her sister at heart, Linda Sherer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 37 years, Robert Thrasher; three children, Jennifer Thrasher, Tommy Thrasher, and Bobby Thrasher; one granddaughter, Gracie Thrasher; father, Harley Hoffpauir and wife Jane; brother, Dale Hoffpauir and wife Lynn; sister, Patti Hoffpauir; and loving sisters by heart, Linda Sherer, Alice Browning, and Marilyn Rogers.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Eula Hoffpauir and grandparents.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heart of Hospice and the nursing staff of units 31 and 41 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital for their care and compassion.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 4, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 8:00 AM until the time of service at Johnson Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday at Ebenezer Cemetery in Jonesboro, LA. Rev. Ron Sherer will officiate services.
