Welsh ~ Connie Jean Morton Whitmer, born in Fayette County, Ohio on August 6, 1937, daughter of the late Glenn and Louise (Anderson) Morton, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at the age of 86.
Connie enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards and bingo with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Louise (Anderson) Morton; daughter, Sharon Curtis; granddaughter, Tammy Renee Osborne; grandson, Justin Daniel Breaux; husband, Don Whitmer; sister, Shirley Zugg.
Connie survived by children, Bobby Osborne (Nelli), Kenny Osborne (Sandi), Steve Osborne (Carolyn); Debbie Breaux (Robert), Marty Whitmer; son-in-law, Don Stethem; grandchildren, Chris Osborne, Jason Colter (Sara), Kyle Breaux (Ariel), Charlie Breaux, Jason Breaux, Aiden Osborne, Savannah Osborne; great-grandchildren, Maverick Breaux, Jake Colter, Seth Colter, Brady Colter, and 1 on the way.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa and there are no formal services scheduled.
