Conrad Paul Trombatore, Jr.

Conrad Paul Trombatore, Jr., 66, of Oberlin, LA, entered eternal rest at 3:15 PM on Friday, October, 28, 2016 in a Lake Charles hospital.

Conrad “Rags” was born February 21, 1950 in New Orleans, LA, where he graduated from Archbishop Shaw High School and attended Nichols State College. He lived in Guatemala for twenty years while traveling the world sharing the gospel. He moved to Oberlin in March of 1995, and has worked twenty-one years for Coushatta Casino as a Pit Boss. He loved his wife and his children dearly and will always be remembered as a talented musician, who could play almost any instrument. He was a humble, soft-spoken man with a heart of gold that will be missed dearly.

Conrad is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Blanca “Lucky” Trombatore of Oberlin, LA; children, Juliette Heart Trombatore of New Orleans, Jessica Marie Trombatore of Broussard, LA, Michael Christian Trombatore of New Orleans, Andres Gabriel Trombatore of New Orleans, and Christopher David Trombatore and wife Jennifer “Dani” Trombatore of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Johnathan Matthew Britt, Finley Tate Trombatore, and William James Sutton Trombatore; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Conrad Trombatore, Sr.; and infant son, John Paul Trombatore.

A gathering / visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Oberlin Baptist Church from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for family and friends. His memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2223 N. Von Braun Court in Harvey, LA.

His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
