Consolacion Abad Camania, born in Manila, Philippines on December 29, 1927, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the age of 94.
Consolacion was married to the late Zoilo C. Camania, and together they had 7 children, Remedious Abad Camania, Ricardo A. Camania (Remedios Gonzales Camania), Emiliano A. Camania (Angeles B. Camania), Angelina C. Valenzuela (Jaime Valenzuela), Jaime A. Camania (Susan S. Camania), Mercedita C. Crockett (Darwin Crockett – deceased) , Carlito A. Camania (Rufina B. Camania); 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Family life was so important to her, and she made a very loving home. She was a very generous woman who gave of herself so willingly to help others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eusebio and Petra dela (Cruz) Abad; husband, Zoilo C. Camania, and son, Carlito C. Camania.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Raphael Catholic Church on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 11 a.m., Rev. Anthony Fontenot, Celebrant. Cremation will follow under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in the church at 10 a.m., with a rosary recited by the family at 10:30 a.m.
