Cora Jane Adams, born in St. Paul, MN on August 17, 1992, daughter of Shepard Adams and Gracelyn Jane Sell Adams, passed from this life on April 20, 2023 in Bogalusa, at age 30.
A graduate of Hammond High School, Cora was studious and attended Southeastern Louisiana University.
Cora loved fashion, especially shoes, and enjoyed shopping with friends. Cora was considered a foodie, enjoyed cooking, and introducing others to new cuisine.
A lover of animals, she tended to strays and often brought them home and took immense pride in nurturing them back to health.
Although shy, she brought beauty into the lives of those around her and was steadfast, and kind to everyone she met.
Preceding Cora in death are her grandparents, James Everett and Olita Uory Richard Adams; uncles, Robert Douglas and Harvey Larry Adams; grandparents, Eugene Elmer and Eleanor Cora Mae Jahns Sell.
Left to honor her memory are her parents, Shepard and Gracelyn Adams; brothers, David Roy Adams (Jennifer), Donald James Adams (Sherri), Dwayne Lee Adams, Mark Everett Adams (Eliza), and Peter Barnaby Lane; sisters, Deborah Joy Stevenson (George), Kellie Ruth Raxsdale (Troy), Leah Ann Sharp (Mitch), Renee Joan Holifield (Wes), Lynne Marie Zeigler (Derius), and Sharon Faith Totora (Phil); numerous nieces, and nephews.
Services will be conducted in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Pallbearers assisting in her service are her sisters and 2 brothers, Deborah, Kellie, Leah, Renee, Lynne, Sharon, Donald, and Mark. Honorary is CPL Collin Raxsdale, USMC.
