Cora M. Arville, of LeBleu Settlement passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the age of 85. Cora was born in Lake Charles to Everett and Clara (LeBleu) Fruge on October 15, 1940.
Cora devoted her career to caregiving, providing compassion and support to those in need while working with the CARC healthcare team. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession, as she deeply valued her faith and was an active member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, where she found strength and solace.
She leaves behind survivors with her legacy of faith, strength, and love. A proud mother to her 3 loving daughters, Pam Hebert, Jennifer Ogea (Randy), and Michelle Granger (Shawn), Cora cherished every moment spent with her family. Whether it was enjoying a shopping trip or gathering for special occasions, her love for her daughters and her sister, Lillie Ryan (Butch), was a constant source of joy in her life. Cora also leaves behind her step son, Jeff Nansen (Sandy); 11 grandchildren, D.J. and Candice Wyman, Britney, Amanda, and Hunter Ogea, John Allen Fields, Barry, Sarah, and Louis Parker, Angel Granger, Holly Miller, Brandon Aucoin, and Katrina Willis; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her beloved fur baby, Cotton; nieces and nephews, Kristy VaSalle, Nikki Porter, Kenneth and Jamie Fruge, Kevin DeRouen, Vanessa Courville, Tammy, Waylon, and Wayne Marceaux.
To honor Cora's memory, a visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa on Monday, January 5, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a rosary at 1:30 PM. A funeral service will then take place at the same location at 2:00 PM. Cora will be laid to rest at LeBleu Cemetery, where her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the profound impact, she had on those around her.
Cora M. Arville will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering faith, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
Cora was preceded in death by the father of her children and first husband, Nelson Marceaux; her second husband, Charles Arville; her parents, Everette and Clara LeBleu Fruge; her brother, Everette Fruge, Jr. (EJ), step children, Michael Arville and Pam Dartez; nephew, David Ryan, and son-in-law, Henry Hebert.
Pallbearers assisting with her services will be, Gavin Cooley, Westin Leonard, Haden and Hunter Ogea, Jayden and Gauge Parker, Harley Sonnier.
