Cornelia LeBouef, 77, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in Sulphur, Louisiana. She was born on April 11, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to James and Harriett Holland Newton.

Cornelia was a faithful Christian and an original member of Christian Life Church in Vinton, Louisiana. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she carried it with grace, kindness, and a joyful spirit.

She and her husband, Web, shared 37 years of marriage together. Cornelia dearly loved her family and was especially devoted to those closest to her, including her beloved dog, Tojean. Her family described her as, "Our Earth Angel."

Cornelia had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit. She loved to make people laugh and brought lighthearted joy into the lives of those around her. She enjoyed crabbing, loved roller coasters, and had a special fondness for green peanut M&M's, and her favorite color, purple.

Cornelia will be remembered for her faith, her laughter, her love for family, and the joy she brought into every room. May she rest in peace in the presence of the Lord she faithfully loved.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Webster LeBouef; her son, Chris LeBouef; her daughter-in-law, Sherri LeBouef; her grandchildren, Alee Coble, Caleb Coble, BriAnne LeBouef, Dayton LeBouef, Gage Ford, Madison LeBouef, Ella LeBouef, and James LeBouef; her great grandchildren, Dria Baker, Alex Ford, Samie Ford, Saige Ford, Cassain Coble, Ezelynn Coble, and Jaxton Joiner.

She was preceded in death by 8 brothers & sisters; and her son, Allen LeBouef.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Christian Life Church, 835 Fairchild Street, Vinton, LA. Pastor Don Snider will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and will resume on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
