Craig Russel Kodai

Craig Kodai, 81, of Lake Charles, passed away on June 9, 2026. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Craig moved to California at an early age. Craig inspired his boys to be good men. His actions inspired them to be the best versions of themselves that they possibly could be.

Craig is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debra Jean Margelowsky Kodai; his children, Scott Kodai (Shauna) and Brian Kodai; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Craig is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dolores Kodai, and his infant daughter, Cheryl Pauline Kodai.
