Cresentia "Cris" Lasyone

Cresentia Lasyone passed away April 26, 2021 in a Crowley, LA hospital.

Cris was born July 27, 1950 in Baton Rouge, LA to Dewey James and Mary Moore Thoms.  She will be remembered as Maw Maw Cris to all.  She was an avid LSU sports fan.  She enjoyed Mardi Gras, lighthouses, snowmen, and Coca Cola.  She was a very simple person who loved God, sports, and family.  She especially loved her family and loved watching family members playing sports.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her mother, Mary Evelyn Moore Thoms; her children, Johnny Lasyone, Rebecca Lasyone Nunez (Jason), Sarah Lasyone (Lance Nash), Tabitha Lasyone (Dobby & Winky); her grandchildren, Scarlett Self (Cory), Victoria Ange, and Tyler Ange (Anna); her great grandchildren, Shane Self, and Mardi Farque; her siblings, Dewey Thoms (Sharon), David Thoms (Christy), and Cecilia Manuel (Warren); and, numerous nieces & nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey James Thoms.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
