Crystal "Chris" Michelle Mallett

Crystal “Chris” Michelle Mallett, born in Lake Charles on February 25, 1977, daughter of the late Nolan Mallett, Sr. and Della Mae Granger, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the age of 44.
Crystal was a kind, loving friend to everyone she encountered. She was full of life, always joking, being with family, but most of all, her daughter was the love of her life. She was an avid fan of LSU sports.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Kathy Coveney (Derek) of DeRidder; siblings, Tammy Gaspard (Daniel); Nolan Mallett, Jr. (Billie); Darrell Mallett; Douglas Mallett (Annie Jo); Lawrence Mallett (Katrina); numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Katy Harrelson.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, September 25, 2021, in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Dewayne Daigle, officiating. Burial will follow in Broussard Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
