Curt Taylor

Curt Taylor, 65, passed away in a local hospital on Thursday, November 29, 2018.

He was born on January 28, 1953 to George and LaVerne Larson Taylor in Duluth, Minnesota. He loved his grandbabies who affectionately called him “Poppy”. He enjoyed fishing and will be remembered for his dedication to helping others. He was employed by Phillips 66 for 38 years and was a faithful member of Eastwood Pentecostal Church for 37 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Burnell Taylor of Moss Bluff; daughters, Alexa Nichole McNeil and husband Nick of Moss Bluff and Jade Olivia Perere and husband Lukas of Moss Bluff; grandchildren, Isabel McNeil, Madelyn McNeil, Ezra Perere, Esther Perere, and one on the way; brothers, Brett Taylor of Duluth, MN, Craig Taylor of Sheffield Village, OH and the Rev. Scott Taylor of Duluth, MN; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Jennifer Hansen and Marna Taylor.

His funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Eastwood Pentecostal Church. Pastor Aaron Lopez will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 5 PM until 7 PM and will resume on Sunday from 10 AM until 11 AM.
