Curtis "Butch" Hardy

Curtis “Butch” Hardy, 54, passed away on January 19, 2016 at a local hospice facility surrounded by his family.  Butch loved his family and grandchildren and had a love for science fiction, movies and reading.  His passion was cars and learning new things.  In 1979, Butch began working in the automotive parts industry.  Butch was also an automotive technician with his last employment being with Auto Zone in Sulphur as an assistant manager.

Butch is survived by his children Derick Hardy and wife, Alicia and their children, Tiffany and Charles and Andrea Francis and husband, Branden and their child, Beau all of Sulphur; his girlfriend, Leesia LeBleu of Moss Bluff; and his siblings, Jane Hardy and Frank Higdon both of North Carolina.  Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford Curtis and Katherine Hardy and one sister, Ann Cuff.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 2-4 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Colors for a Cause, St. Jude’s Hospital or The Wounded Warrior Project.
