Curtis Broussard 89, of Sulphur, La Passed away on July 23, 2023. He was born on May 18, 1934 in Lacassine, La to Adam and Ida Broussard
Curtis was a Lifelong Cowboy and avid Duck hunter while earning his living as a loyal member of Local 106 Pipefitters Union. He was a proud husband and father to 5 children and also grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather.
He Loved spending time in Lake Arthur with his cousins. Whether Building something, Working cows or hunting. He was an exceptional Craftsman and helped a lot of people with his talent.
Curtis leaves behind his children, son, James Ed (Jeanne) Broussard; daughter, Ann Stacy; son, Bill (Joyce) Broussard; son, Brad (Wanda) Broussard; and son, Matt (Farel) Broussard; grandchildren, Tyana, Jenna, Candace, Dalton, Shelly, Brady, Ben, Dillon, MacKenzy, Lea, Niki & Brittany. He had 14 Great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Adam Broussard; mother, Ida Broussard; wife, Barbara Baker Broussard; grandson, Chuck Broussard; brother, Lloyd Broussard and son-in-law, Scotty Stacy.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 2 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Deacon Patrick LaPoint officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 4-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 12 P.M. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
