Iowa – Curtis “Wayne” Manuel, 63, passed away in his residence, Saturday, August 12, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Wayne was born in Crowley on November 5, 1953 to the late Curtis M. & Cloney Belle (Stutes) Manuel. He was a graduate of Iowa High School and a member of Christ Community in Lake Charles. Wayne served in the U. S. Army for 8 years.
Survivors are his wife of 37 years, Janice Duncan Manuel; sons, Markus Manuel and wife, Rose; Jeff Ochoa and wife, Margo; 4 grandchildren, Madison, Melanie, Madelyn & Dylan; siblings, Charles Manuel (Brenda) of LeBleu Settlement, Bonnie Bruney of Moss Bluff, Daniel Manuel (Donna) of Rosepine. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation begins Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and will resume Wednesday from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Services are Wednesday at 11 a.m. with his brother, Charles Manuel officiating in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
