Cindy

Cynthia Gail Ogea “Cindy” Anderson, 69, went to be with the Lord on November 27,2025, surrounded by her family. Cindy was born on November 15, 1956, to Harrison and Fern Ogea. She was “Honey” to the two loves of her life, her granddaughters, Cambri and Lani, who she cherished spending time with. She also enjoyed spending time with her “cruising the coast” friends and her friends at the lake. Cindy also enjoyed watching and feeding the birds in the back yard, growing flowers and day trips with her two sisters and her brother.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 51 years, David Anderson; her daughter, Christy Johns and husband, Levi; her two granddaughters, Cambri and Lani; her sisters, Janis Borman and husband, Chip and Rhetta Ogea; one brother, Elliott Ogea; and many dear friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services for Cindy will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss, LA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur from 11 AM until 1 PM.

The family would like to thank the APTC staff at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital, especially Donna Nevils. She went the extra mile in taking care of Cindy through her illness. Also, thank you to all of our friends and family for the prayers.
