Cynthia “Cindy” Broussard Gordon, born in Lake Charles on February 27, 1959, daughter of the late Rolland “Black Top” and Wilda (Leger) Broussard, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the age of 65.
Cindy, a retired paraprofessional for J. I. Watson, enjoyed watching British television shows, attending her grandson, Hayden’s baseball games and her 2 dogs, Penny and Muffin. She was a faithful member of St. Raphael Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother and his wife, Lee and Linda Broussard.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 26 years, Rickey Gordon; daughter, Sarah LeBleu and husband, Eric; grandson, Hayden LeBleu; and brother, Jerry Broussard and wife, Phyllis.
As per her wishes, she has been cremated under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa and there are no formal services scheduled. Burial of her cremains will be in Lacassine Cemetery at a later date.
