Cynthia "Cyndi" LeJeune

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Diane “Cyndi” LeJeune, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. Cyndi, who was born on July 2, 1961, in Sulphur, LA raised in Westlake, La, left us peacefully on December 11, 2025, at the age of 64 after a beautiful life filled with love and laughter.

Cyndi was a vibrant soul known for her warm personality and her love for family and friends. She spent many joyful days surrounded by her loved ones, cherishing each moment shared with them. As a dedicated teller in the banking industry, Cyndi brought her unique charm and kindness to everyone she met in her professional life.

Preceded in death by her parents, James and Rosemary Whitmire of Westlake, La and her Mother and Father-in-law James and Barbara Lejeune, of Lake Charles, La. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark LeJeune; Cinnamon the cat; her loving sister, Jodi Whitmire; and her beloved nieces and nephew: John-Michael Powers (Tram), Mandy Hayzlett, Emily Powers, and Marley McBride (Jordan). She is also remembered fondly by her brothers-in-law, Wayne and David LeJeune. Also left to cherish her memory is a multitude of great-nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to honor Cyndi at a Celebration of Life service on December 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Before the service, there will be a time of visitation at Johnson Funeral Home, 4321 Lake St. Lake Charles, LA. 70605, beginning at 2:00 PM.

The family has entrusted cremation arrangements to Johnson Funeral Home.
