Cynthia Marie Grosze Jeter, 54, of Lake Charles died at 4:19 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

 

Cynthia was born on April 24, 1962 in Lake Charles, LA to the parents of Sylvia and Theodore Grosze who preceded her in death. She was a 1980 graduate of Alfred M. Barbe High School & a 1985 graduate of McNeese State University where she received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. Member of the Up with People Organization 1982-83. She was employed by Cushman and Wakefield as Sr. Managing Director, Research for over 27 years before retiring. She lived in Dallas from 1986 to 2016.

 

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Robert E. Jeter of Lake Charles, LA, three sisters, Martha Grosze Williams, husband Ray of Houston, TX, Ann Grosze Bailey, husband Vince of Jennings, LA, Mary Grosze Paul, husband Thomas of Germany, one step-sister, Sheri Schroll Rains, husband Dennis of Lake Charles, two brothers, Mark Fredrick Grosze of Bailey, N.C., and Andrew Aubrey Grosze of South Point, N.C., one stepbrother, Phil Schroll of Lake Charles, LA, numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and two very special companions, Smokey and Jet.  

 

Visitation will begin on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass to be held at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church. Msgr. Vincent Sedita and Deacon Glenn Viau will be the celebrants. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
