Cynthia "Cyndi" White

Cynthia “Cyndi” Sue White, 66, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Cyndi was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 5, 1959, to John and Jewel Mecklenburg. Throughout her childhood Cyndi lived in Jacksonville, Florida, Puerto Rico and Houston, Texas. In High School she loved her drama classes and enjoyed working at Astroworld. We met in Lake Charles, dated for a year and were married on July 13, 1984, which was a Friday. She loved reading romance and crime novels while relaxing on the beach, which was her favorite place to be. We enjoyed traveling together and making great memories. We had two children and enjoyed a wonderful life together.

Cyndi is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Scott White; son, Jeremiah White; daughter, Lauren White; brother and sister in laws, Steve and Frances Roll; nieces and nephews, Caitlin and Kelsey Morris, Chelsea and Jacob Theriot, nieces, Brittini Rodriguez, and Natalia Hazelwood; nephew, Nathaniel Villareal; grandnieces; Kyleigh Quebedeaux, Mila Theriot; and grandnephew, Eli Theriot. She is preceded by her parents, John Joseph and Jewel Sanders Mecklenburg, II; brother, John Joseph Mecklenburg III; sister, Judith Rodriguez; and nana, Reba Sanders.

Cyndi was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service for Cyndi will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur with Pastor Marcus Wade officiating. Visitation will be from 12 PM until the start of the service.
