Dale John Medicis, born in Lake Charles on July 3, 1956, son of Charles and Jeanette (Sonnier) Medicis, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the age 66.
Dale graduated from LaGrange High School and attended McNeese State University. Dale owned and operated DM Distributing for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, team roping and working in his yard
Survivors are his son, Kyle Medicis (Kim); mother, Jeanette Medicis; brothers, Gary Medicis (Amelia), Lynn Medicis (Heather); grandchildren, Kash, Kyler, and Kase Medicis; fiancé, Ruby McCall; family of his fiancé; Joshua McCall (Renee), Jennifer Daigle (Toby), Thomas, Graham, Ella, and Lane McCall, William, Ellie, Boston, Stetson, Caroline, Beckam, and Isla Daigle; pet, Reign. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Medicis; pets, Maggie and Callie.
Funeral services are Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Lorrain Derouen Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
