Dalton Charles Humphery, born in Jennings on December 17, 1993, son of Benjamin Paul Humphery, and Janelle Marie Duplechain, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, at the age of 29.
Dalton was a very skilled welder, and fabricator. He enjoyed motorcycles, cars, music, and working. Most of all, he loved attending church and being with his son, Travis.
He is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Paul Humphery; grandfather, Johnny Duplechain, Sr., uncle, Johnny Duplechain, Jr.; grandparents, Lisa & James Defee.
Dalton is survived by his mother, Janelle Duplechain; son, Travis Hoffpauir; fiancé, Emma Hoffpauir; grandmother, Judy Duplechain; grandparents, Buddy & Bobby Humphery; siblings, Dakota Blake Humphery, Garrett Humphery, Lyla Humphery, Bryce Humphery, Madison Humphery, and Carter Humphery; stepmother, Amber Humphery.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Jim Compton officiating. Burial will be in Ardoin Cove Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday in the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
