Danah Kaylor Whaley

Danah Kaylor Whaley, 91, of Sulphur passed away on July 10, 2019 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Sulphur United Pentecostal Church and Haynesville United Pentecostal Church. Danah enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling, and visiting at home with family and friends.

Danah is survived by her children, Douglas Clark Whaley and wife Cathy of Sulphur, Sharon Whaley Vincent of Walker, LA, Shelia Darlene Whaley of Sulphur, and Russell Craig Whaley and wife Debbie of Sulphur; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Clark Whaley; parents, William B. Kaylor and Mamie B. Kaylor; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; and son-in-law, James “Butch” Vincent.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 2 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Theron Watson officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12 from 12 P.M. at the funeral home until time of the service.
