Daniel James Janise, 45, of Lake Charles died Wednesday, April 12, 2017.
He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and attended S.J. Welsh Middle School and Barbe High School. He was a Boilermaker, a member of Boilermakers Local. Mr. Janise also worked as a Rig Foreman offshore.
He is survived by his mother, Magdalene Gobeil Martin and step-father, Jim Martin of Lake Charles; step-mother, Lou Janise of Lake Charles; aunt, Lillian Morris of Lake Charles; former spouse, Margo Broussard and step-children, Zarian Rogers and Zachary Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Charles Janise and grandparents, Pete and Palmire Janise and Neil and Cecile Gobeil.
A gathering of friends and family Monday, April 17, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a rosary service beginning at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made for outstanding expenses.
