“Bookum, D, Danny”

Danny, 64 passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 in a Shreveport hospital.  Danny was born in Alexandria, LA on July 3, 1958 to Ivy Edward and Sylvia Sexton Myers.

Danny loved to meet people and will be remembered as the life of the party. He enjoyed spending time on the river and listening to music.  He was forgiving, had a big heart and he never met a stranger.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Emily; children, Daniel Myers, Jr. (Skylee) and John Myers; grandchildren, Jessa, Weston and Alston; siblings, Robert “Bubba” Myers, William “Billy” Myers, and Marty “Gum” Myers; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:00pm with Father Aubrey Guilbeau officiating.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.  Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss. Bluff.
