Darin James LaBiche

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Darin James LaBiche, who left us far too soon on June 25, 2026, due to an unfortunate accident. Born on December 27, 1972, in Lake Charles, LA, Darin was a lifelong resident of the area, where he made a name for himself as a talented carpenter and handyman.

Darin was a proud graduate of Iowa High School and lived his life with a passion for craftsmanship and a love for the outdoors. He had a special knack for working with his hands, and his joy for carpentry was matched only by his enthusiasm for golfing. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it was to friends, family, or anyone who needed a bit of assistance.

Darin leaves behind his loving family, including his siblings: Kevin LaBiche, Crystal Petross, Teddy LaBiche (Taylor), Trenton LaBiche (Kayla), and Brian Sweeney. He also cherished his numerous nieces and nephews, who brought him much joy. He was particularly fond of his beloved pets, Ava Dean and Rue, who will miss him dearly.

Memorial services will take place at Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 6:00 PM, with Zach Manuel officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where we will share stories and celebrate Darin's life. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa.

Darin was preceded in death by his parents, Teddy and Patsy LaBiche.
