Darrell Lynn Bossley

Westlake - Darrell Lynn Bossley, born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 21, 1954, son of the late Albert Francis and Norma Jean (Deslatte) Bossley, passed away in the comfort of his home on Friday, July 17, 2020, at the age of 65.
Darrell was a commercial fisherman and worked in the refineries. He was a member of Dick Dowling Lions Club in Sabine Pass, Texas. Darrell loved singing Karaoke, growing a vegetable garden and giving them away. He loved being on the water; fishing and shrimping. He was a good story teller and cooking for his friends and family. Most of all, being with his girls and grandchildren were his life.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Carla Sue Bossley; children, Bridgette Alexander (Joey); Angela Weatherford (Roy); Billie Rose Whitehead (Mike); Candice Hill (Andy); Haley Boykin; Leanna Boykin; Bessie-Lou Gore (Jonathan); Erica Bergeron (Brandon); Amanda Carson (William); Sarah Lynn Friar; siblings, David Bossley (Roxane); Ronald Dubose (Julie); Patricia Heid (James); Jennifer Gensler; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-love, Amy Picard; grandson, Blake Forest Alexander.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Freedom Life Church, 314 Broad Street, Lake Charles, LA. Pastors Paula Raley and Amanda Seymour will officiate. A second memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 6 p.m. in Sabine Pass Christian Fellowship, 5110 Greenwich, Sabine Pass, Texas 77655. Pastors Shane Jennings; Paula Raley and Amanda Seymour will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
Face masks will be required at both services.
