Welsh – Darrell Paul Trahan, Sr., born April 4, 1958, son of the late Daniel Lee Trahan, Sr. and Willa Jean (Martin) Trahan, passed away in his residence, Saturday, August 3, 2019, at the age of 61.
Darrell was a graduate of Welsh High School and retired from Market Basket. He was a member of Bethel Church of Jennings.
Survivors are his children, Dandrell Molbert (Richard) of Welsh; Darrell “DJ” Paul Trahan Jr. (Nikki); siblings, Stephanie Granger; Robin Andrus; Linda Marcantel; Daniel “T-Man” Lee Trahan, Jr., all of Welsh; 3 grandchildren, Makayla Trahan; Devyn Trahan; Jaxson Trahan.
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diana Marie Granger Trahan; sister, Juanita Trahan Gradney.
Memorial services are Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 4 p.m. with Pastor Rick Julian officiating in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A gathering of friends will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
